Carolyn Twedell Obituary
Carolyn dedicated her life to her family, finding joy in being a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Adams, son-in-law Roger Adams, grandsons Justin and Zachary Estes, granddaughter-in-law Sydney Hren, grandson-in -law Lightnen Hess, great-grandchildren, Tristan, Aurora, and Grayson Hess and Taliah and Adelaide Estes. sister Jackie Krause, brother-in-law Randy Krause, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Dono Erickson, mother, Dolores Wiltse, brother James Erickson and granddaughter, Tara Hess.
Carolyn's hobbies included reading, solving puzzles, holding and loving her dog Sunny, and helping others, always putting her family first in all her endeavors. Her selflessness and warmth touched everyone she met.
A private family graveside service will be held at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry at a later date. Des Moines Cremations in Des Moines, Iowa, is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Raccoon Valley Pet rescue in Perry Iowa, honoring Carolyn's compassionate spirit a love of animals. Carolyn's legacy of love and kindness will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege to know her.
