Carroll Howard Obituary
Carroll was a master electrical contractor who owned and operated several businesses. He generously shared his knowledge, teaching of the trade to his son, son-in-law, and later, his granddaughter's husband. Carroll served as the president of the IEC School of Electricians in 1988, he also served on the City of Arlington Electric Board for 15 year.
He was a faithful member of FBC Midlothian, Central Baptist Church of Hillsboro, and Tate Springs Baptist Church of Arlington. Carroll's commitment to his faith was evident in his community involvement and how he lived his daily life.
An enthusiast of the outdoors, Carroll enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bird watching. His green thumb was evident in his well-tended plants. Carroll also found joy in bead art and he
cherished game days at church, where he played dominoes and Jokers.
Carroll is survived by his children and their spouses, Tawn & Scott Gray, Doyle & Shannon Howard, Lesi & Kerry Horton, and Gene & Sandra Morris; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Whitney & Chris, Jennifer & Nick, Kailon & Bryan, Breghan & David, Tyler & Taylor, Jessica and Marissa & Max; Sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. and other loved ones, Shirley and Lois. He was preceded in death by his wife Lou Morris, parents Ganoe Joe and Mary Jean, his sister Mary Joe and great-great grand-child.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church of Midlothian, 1651 S. Midlothian PKWY, Midlothian, Texas, on April 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Carroll's life was marked by his deep faith, his dedication to his family, and his significant contributions to the electrical field. He will be remembered as a guiding light and a pillar of his community.
In Lieu of flowers, you can make donations to the mission fund at Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

I knew and loved this good man. I will see him again soon enough. Many good memories at Central Baptist and working alongside of him on multiple projects. He was a good friend!

I am sure going to miss Ganoe. He was one of the sweetest and funniest people I've known. He was so helpful and smart with fixing anything to do with electricity. And all you had to do was mention that you needed help or something fixed and he would do it. He will be missed by so many of us. May he rest in heaven. My condolences to his family. Kathy Carter
