Casey Ehmsen

Casey Michael Ehmsen, age 40 of Greeley, CO. passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010. He was born on October 24, 1969 in Quantico, Virginia to Walter and Sue Ehmsen. Casey grew up in Greeley, CO. Casey graduated from Greeley West High School and attended Colorado State University, where he graduated in 1992 with a degree in journalism. He was Editor of the Conifer, Columbine and Evergreen newspapers. He was currently the Copy Editor with the Greeley Tribune. Casey was the recipient of numerous journalism awards. He loved to read and enjoyed skiing. Casey is survived by his father, Walter Ehmsen and his mother, Sue Ehmsen; one sister, Andi (Don) Schnell; nieces, Hannah Schnell and Aimee Ehmsen; nephews, Arek Ehmsen and Riley Schnell. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bryan Ehmsen. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 15th at 1:00 p.m. at the Allnutt Macy Chapel in Greeley.
