To The Hamlet and Marks family. My deepest sympathy to you all. I truly understand the void that is left in your heart since the passing of your mom and sister, my Aunt Cathy. She was a special person and I really enjoyed talking to her over the years either on the phone or email. She helped me through my dads passing(her brother) Richard. What a very special person she was. She is now a special angel spending time with your dad and the Marks family that has passed. I will miss our conversations! Rest in Peace Aunt Cathy. Ma Hamlet always had a smile and a warm welcome. Only saw her play ball once - about 23 years ago - she was playing short and I remember thinking she was fearless. Condolences to Linda, Jeff, Doug, Dan and all her friends and family.

Dear Hamlet family,
It is with great sadness I learned of Cathy's passing. I spent several years as a Hamlet girlfriend and loved getting to know Cathy. She was an amazing women with all of her talents as baker, chef, mechanic, nurse and athlete. I loved her potato peanut butter cookies at Christmas. She was always happy and smiling. God Bless you Doug, Danny, Linda and Jeff and all the extended family. I know your memories of mom will be a comfort to you all. She was a great lady.

Linda, Doug and family. We've known you and played ball with you for years. Great memories, your mom enjoying every bit of her life and time she spent with her kids. I'm sure you have many memories that you will cherish forever. May you find peace in those memories. Keep smiling Cathy, rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers for Cathy's family. I played softball with and against Cathy. What an inspiration to us all. Heaven has gained one heck of a softball player. But don't worry, she can't get hurt sliding into the clouds. RIP Cathy. God Bless.

Cathy Hamlet was my neighbor. I grew up across the street from her. I don't think I have ever known a person who smiled as much as she did. She was always warm and friendly whenever I talked to her. She is one of those people I will never forget because of her optimistic outlook on life. Our neighborhood will not be the same without her. She will truly be missed. Thank you, Cathy!

My deepest condolences for Mrs. Hamlet and family. My two greatest moments of Mrs.Hamlet "and there where many growing up around the family" was when she hid in the garage when the Ventura P.D. showed up for one of the partys thrown by the boys and her working with Doug on his 52 Willeys truck. What a wonderful person.

Cathy Hamlet was the special Mother of the true Love of my life, Linda. I enjoyed watching or talking Dodger baseball with her. Her smile and wise words could always inspire you to keep on truckin' with a positive outlook.
Love you always, Lee Coffey

Rest easy dear Cathy, you will surely be missed. I'm shocked and saddened by the death of our sweet friend. She was such a kind and gentle soul and always so concerned for others in our weekly lunch bunch. None of us will be the same without her.
My deepest condolences to the family.

I spent many years playing softball against Cathy, some of the happiest times of my life. We always knew we needed to be at the very top of our game when we played Cathy's teams. She was a true inspiration to many of us--young, old, male, female, all of us. Her Doris Day smile and sparkling eyes were a joy to behold...but behind those eyes was one fierce competitor. Cathy was awesome! I am so lucky and glad I had the opportunity to know her. My sincerest sympathy to the Hamlet family.

Cathy is a true Hall of Famer in the world of women's softball and it was an honor being taught how to turn a double play and break one up by your mom. She was the winning spirit behind Hacienda and our many successes. She will be a winning addition to God's lineup!! Rest in peace my Friend.

Cathy was a beautiful person inside and out. I am so honored to have known her. Having the honor of being her teammate in Ojai was the highlight of my softball years. My goal was to be able to play at least as long as Cathy did... though I knew I'd never play as well as she could. She was my inspiration. Cathy always had a word of encouragement and was never without that beautiful smile. I can see her eyes sparkle now as I think of her. She was a wonderful, generous, kind and giving woman. They broke the mold when they made Cathy. My heartfelt condolences to her family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I adored this lady.

Sending condolences from the Arellanes family....I loved watching your mom playing ball at Foster Park with my mom, little did I know that I would end up playing ball with Linda. Your mom always had a smile for me and I was always happy to see such a friendly face. I know our family went way back. I pray for comfort to the family at this time. Blessings.
