Katie , was Kathys and my news lady , after katie read the news papper . or watched the tv news channel .Katie would call up On Kathys phone . and repeat the news she herd , which was a hoot at times . now and then Katie would get tangled up on pronunciation of a three to four cylible word , but Katie' would tuff it through . sometimes we would help her . but with Katie being a little hard of hearing, it would be interesting what Katie came up with . One time on a vacation / fishing trip to Mcardles resort on Case lake , we had rented to cabins beside each other , had a couple of lawn chairs out on the lawn by the tress . being The Month of June , the birds were busy building the nests , and feeding and cleaning out the nest from bird droppings. ( the parent bird after feedin young ones probably noticed a big chick dropping. so not to waste flying time it picked up the big bird droppings and flew it in its beak to get away from the nest ) . You guessed it , Katie getting a little sun tan setting in the chair. was in the direct flight path of mama bird . as she dropped her poop load .
Katie had a 46 streak of bird extrament on the front of her tee. I thought she would have been mad , she smile giggled and yelled!,!! Kath get me a papper towel .
Katie was a very Happy go Lucking person , Miss you Katie Donny
