Just found out that Cecil has passed. The Christmas card we sent him was returned to us today. So sorry to hear of his passing. We got connected with Cecil through the Henry Simon Gay reunion in 2001. Cecil escorted us around to all the Gay and Tucker family historical sights. The next year we brought more of his cousins from Jacksonville, Florida to Moultrie to meet our cousins along with Uncle Larry Flowers. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Linda and Larry Tattersall.

Cecil was a good friend of mine since I first moved to Moultrie 12 years ago. We worked out at the YMCA together at the same time. Cecil did more talking than working out but he was a very caring man. He came to my son's birthday party and we had lunch together occasionally when he became to feeble to go to the YMCA. He loved his cats and he loved to spend time with others. I moved away from moultrie but checked on him often and visited while I was in town. I learned today of his passing while trying to contact him to stop by for a visit.
I will miss him dearly.
