Employee of RBC Insurance
Unexpectedly passed away, on March 5, 2012 at the age of 33. Beloved husband and best friend of Sandra Parent (Pavletic). He leaves behind his beloved dog Palmer. Cherished son of Paul and Diane Parent. Loving brother of Sally (Tim) and Eric (Danielle). Chad will be sadly missed by his grandparents, Doreen (the late Orval Parent) and Isaïe and Simone Lafrenière, his parents-in-law, Ivan and Zorka Pavletic, his brothers-in-law, John (Christine) and Drago (Shanley), his nephew Nicolas and niece Megan as well by many uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends. A funeral service in his memory will be held at Good Shepherd Church, 3092 Innes Rd. Orléans, on Saturday, March 10th, 2012 at 12 p.m. The family will be present as of 11 a.m. to receive condolences. A reception will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers donations to The Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated. Condolences and donations may be made at www.heritagefh.ca

Chad was simply the best. I'll miss his sense of humour, his cartoon quotes, his positive attitude, candid affection, booming voice, interesting trivia, advice and everything else he brought to our friendship. Thanks for all the wonderful memories, friendo. They most certainly won't be forgotten.

I love quotes....and I loved Chad....and Chad loved every second of his life and brought more happiness to the people around him then he will ever know. Unlike a lot of people here, I never had the honor of meeting Chad face to face. I met Chad on Facebook weirdly enough. We were both theorizing about what the Flyers needed to do to win a cup. We had similar views and ended up commenting on the same posts everyday. Eventually he friend requested me and we talked hockey on a weekly basis. Hockey talks transformed to life talks, and before you know it we were talking like old friends. Chad seemed like an amazing guy, and I regret that I never got a chance to meet him face to face. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you who did.

I was shocked and so saddened to learn of Chad's passing. I remember him from our days as students at Ecole St-Denis in Sudbury - he could rarely be seen without a big smile and he was a kind person.
