I started working at Winn-Dixie(buddies)when I was 19 and soon after that, met Charlene.Through the years she was always a pleasure to work with ,and after becoming manager I realized she was someone you could count on every day.I remember when she got her first poem published, she was excited and so were all of us who counted her as a friend. She was truly a genuine caring person and will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of knowing Charlene from elementary school at H.V.Helbing, to middle school at Meacham Middle, and high school at Diamond Hill. Charlene was such a friendly person and never had anything negative to say. Over the years, I would run into Charlene and you could guarantee she would have a smile on her face with a friendly hello. I'm sure she will be missed by all.

I first tmet Charlene when I worked at Winn Dixie, when it had the Buddies name on it. Was my first job ever and she made it fun to work there and let me decorate cakes. She was always smiling and was always very sweet. She will be greatly missed. Sorry for your loss.

MY DEAREST PRIMA, OH, HOW I MISS DANCING WITH YOU.
HOW I MISS THE GREAT TIMES WE HAD, LAUGHING, SMILING, CRYING.
NOW THAT YOU STAND IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR LORD, YOU ARE HEALED.
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE SPECIAL TO SO MANY YOU LEFT BEHIND.
BUT IN TIME WE WILL ALL SEE YOU AGAIN AND WILL BE AMAZED AT HOW YOU LOOK NOW, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE.
LOVE YOU, CHARLY

Pete and Juana, Family, and friends, I offer you my deepest sympathy for your loss. Charlene was my very sweet friend for many years. I moved away fron Fort Worth 13 years ago but I never forgot about her. I'm glad to hear that she published her poems. In my memories, I will remember her smiling face. She was an Angel on earth and now she is an Angel in heaven. I pray that God will comfort you in your sorrow. Yolanda Gutierrez
