Charles Ray Anders was born to Richard and Melda Anders on March 29, 1937, in Laurel County, Kentucky. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 4, 2024, to join his Lord and Savior.

He is survived by his wife Freda Anders, daughter Rhonda Syberg, son Jeff (Amy) Anders; grandchildren Stephen Syberg, Sean Syberg (Liz), Makenzie Tingle (Justin), Colton Anders (Alexis), Evan Anders and Jacob Anders; great-grandchildren Abby, Aubrey, Emily, Aurora, Hadley, Josie, Charlotte and Max; two sisters-in-law, Harriet Sutton and Dorcas Anders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bill Anders and wife Gladys, London, Kentucky, Bobby Anders and wife Athalene, London, Kentucky, Jack Anders, Lexington, Kentucky, his infant sister Joyce Anders and brother-in-law Coleman Sutton of Canton, Georgia.

Services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Southport Heights Christian Church, 7154 McFarland Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227. Visitation from Noon-2:00; Service at 2:00. Graveside service will be held at Locust Grove Cemetery, Keavy, Kentucky 40737 on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a monetary donation or service to Southport Heights Christian Church or Locust Grove Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Singleton and St. Pierre Funeral and Cremation Services, Indianapolis, and Hart Funeral Home, Corbin, KY. Full obituary available at www.stpierrefamilyfuneral.com
