I knew Charles from our boyhood days back in MPT. I was often his catcher when he pitched for our little league Dodgers when we were eleven and twelve. Although I haven´t seen him in over fifty years I never forgot him. I remember him as being very competitive and I´m sure that carried over into his adulthood. I would have liked the chance to have been able to reconnect with him.

Remember my father, John O´Connor, telling stories about his prized baseball player Charlie when he coached the Menlo Park Terrace baseball team. Always brought smiles to the team and the coaches.

I use to live next door to Charlie and Chris in and middle 1980s. One time we pulled into the driveway and saw Charlie on the roof cleaning it off. But he kept waving for us to come over. When we walked over we saw the ladder had fallen and he was stuck on the roof.
After he got down Charlie said he was stuck up there for about 45 minutes, and the worse part was that he had no cigarettes lol. We were all smokers back then.
Charlie enjoy you time in heaven with Adam and Stan. You will be missed down here
