Charles Bode Obituary
He married the love of his life, Connie Addison, June 22, 1974, in Eugene, Ore. Together, they had two sons, Bill and Matt.
Chuck was an active part of the Chehalis Activators and especially enjoyed snow skiing and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Betty; and father-in-law, William Addison.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Connie; sons, Bill (Tracie) Bode and Matt (Lianna) Bode; grandchildren, Ava, Claire, Grace, Connor and Cora, granddaughter on the way; siblings, Mary (Ross) Register, Mike (Pam) Bode, Tom (Natalie) Addison and Amy (Matt) Rudolf; and mother-in-law, Donna Addison.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017, at the W. F. West High School commons, with a reception following, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Riverside Golf Club.

Chuck was one of the finest men that I have ever known in my life. He was a leader that stood tall. He was a positive man that made everyone feel good about themselves when you were around him. I never will forget skiing with him in Innsbruck,Austria and he came over the hill with snow spraying behind him. He was a tremendous athlete. I will see you on the other side when I cross the river.

We are so sorry to hear about Chuck. He was a great guy and a lot of fun. We met when he and Connie came back to Chehalis in about 1977. We had a lot of good times with them. Unfortunately, we have only seen him a few times in the last five years but we miss his humor and grace. It is so sad.
