Charles "Chas" J. Boyarsky, 57, a resident of Scott Twp., died Wednesday morning, January 28, 2015 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, the former Maura Bieszczad.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of Regina Krzykwa Boyarsky, Scott Twp., and the late Charles Leo Boyarsky. He was a lifetime member of St. John Vianney Church, Montdale, where he previously served on the Pastoral Council. He was a graduate of Lakeland High School and the Radiology Technician program at Community Medical Center, and worked for Dr. Zale, Scranton. He was a sports enthusiast who remained a loyal fan of Lakeland football, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He enjoyed playing golf, softball and also hunting, fishing and gardening.

Chas was a caring and kind man who always put God, family and friends first. His happiest days were spent with his wife, children and dogs at home. He will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank Drs. Jeremiah Eagen and Daniel Kazmierski, and the DaVita Dialysis staff for their years of compassionate and excellent care. A special thank you to Drs. Lisa Thomas, Michael Burke and David Cognetti and Commonwealth Hospice of NEPA for their recent care and kindness.
