As transplanted Californians to South Carolina, Charlie exuded the southern hospitality we all hear about. He blessed my heart for real. Telling him we were moving back to Cali was tough as we had become such a good friends. I´ve missed my friend since moving. I always wanted to have him visit but our reunion will be with our Lord on the other side. My best to Jane and the family. Dave

My condolences to the family. Charlie was a great person. He was the reason why I played basketball for the eagles. Blessings.

I was so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I know him from the dog park. We connected because his Aussie looked so similar to mine. What a kind, gentle and outgoing man he was. I always looked forward to seeing him at the park and was so saddened to hear that he died. My heartfelt sympathies go out to you, Jane, and also to Honey, Elsa and Milo who will dearly miss him.

So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I knew him from Gardner-Webb back in the late '70's and enjoyed watching him on the court and also lots of fun during our backgammon craze back then.

Charlie played basketball for my father, Nield Gordon, at Winthrop College. He was always a selfless, humble player with amazing abilities who was so fun to watch play. I know he was one of my dad´s favorites who only had great things to say about Charlie. My heart goes out to his family but will rejoice knowing he is with our Lord.

Charlie was an all around great guy. He made our little town of Great Falls proud with his basketball accomplishments. He was a standout on and off the court. He will be sorely missed.
