Charles was born on February 10, 1943 and passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Charles was a resident of Marcellus, Michigan at the time of his passing. Charlie graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1960 and later earned his Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University. He was married to Mary. Memorial services will begin at 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home with Monsignor Thomas Martin officiating. Interment will take place in St. Edward Catholic Cemetery followed by a gathering in the lower level of the church. It is suggested that memorials be directed to either Great Lakes Caring Hospice or to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation.

MR COOK WAS ONE OF THE BEST TEACHER, LEADERS PORTAGE CENTRAL EVER HAD HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING. MR COOK REMINDED ME VERY MUCH OF MY OWN FATHER. I WAS A REALLY SMALL KID WITH TYPE 1 DIABETIES AND MR COOK ALWAYS MADE ME FEEL SAFE,JUST LIKE HOME.MR COOK ALWAYS SAW THE TRUTH IN PEOPLE, AND KNEW WHEN TO USE A HEAVY HAND. I'VE ALWAYS LOOKED FOR MR COOK IN MEIJERS BUT HAD NOT SEEN HIM IN ABOUT 13 YEARS.
I FEEL VERY BLESSED TO HAVE HAD THE OPERTUNITY TO KNOW MR COOK AS A TEACHER, AND A FRIEND.

GOD BLESS ALL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
