Charles Corass Obituary
Charles Alphonse Corass on May 23 2013. Husband of Joan Taranto Corass by second marriage and the late Aline Herrle Corass by first marriage. Father of Elaine Arwood, Joseph Corass, Michael Corass, Barbara Kyzar, Brenda Corass, Kitty Griscom and the late Charles (Peanut) Dennis Corass and Linda (Pumpkin) Taranto. Grandfather of Duanne, Jacob, and Diane. Step-grandfather of Jennie, Christy and Andrew. Great grandfather of Alyssa and Keira. Brother of Stella and Clarence and the late Theresa, Laura, Lorena, Agnes, Thomas, William, and Edward. Mr. Corass was retired from the City of New Orleans Sanitation Department. Age 82, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Gonzales, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon. Interment in Restlawn Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed online at www.tharpsontheimer.com.
