Charles Damore Obituary
Beloved husband of the late Rosanne Krevitt- Damore and the late Camille Damore. Loving father of Chuck (Helen) Damore, Rosemarie (the late Brian) Smidt and Bob (Dawn) Damore. Proud grandfather of Kevin (Amanda) and Brad Smidt, Marissa, Breanna and Rebecca Damore. Dear brother of the late Phil and late John Damore. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Charlie was an active boater his entire life and loved to snow ski well into his later years. He worked for US Steel South Works for much of his career. He was fortunate enough to retire early which allowed him to travel, a passion he cherished. He enjoyed retirement in the Chicago, Tucson and Scottsdale, Arizona areas. He had a talent for welcoming those around him which he passed on to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Services Saturday, December 17th, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 South Eola Rd., Aurora, IL 60504, 630.851.3444. Interment private.
