Raymond has been a great friend since high school. He and I worked at my Dads Sinclair service station, we played high school baseball together and had many adventures in his first car which I think was a 1949 Plymouth. When Raymonds parents moved from Lenoir before his senior year, he chose to stay and rented a room at Miss Shells boarding house. He was the type of person you wanted to be around-smart, funny, and with a great spirit. Mary and family, we share your loss and mourn the passing of a wonderful guy.

Raymond's passing brings such sorrow to all his classmates at Lenoir High School he was such a warm exciting young man his good clean attitude reflects his well upbringing. He is one of many that I am sure is already preparing a big reunion for his Bearcat friends. Peace to his family!

Ray was a wonderful man and a joy to be around! I think what I loved the most about Ray, is the way he loved Mary; with his Whole heart. He will surely be missed but one of the grand days we will meet him again in Heavenā¤
