Charles Teal Gibson

Charles Teal Gibson passed away following a brief illness on April 8, 2023 in Ft. Worth, Texas where he lived with his wife, Lee for the past eight years.

Charlie was born on June 9, 1945 at home in Marble Falls, Texas to Bunny and Odessa Gibson. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, a brother, JW Gibson, and his precious daughter Rayelene, who passed away in 1983. His survivors include his wife Lee, who he married on February 2, 2015, his brother Roger and wife Debbie, sisters Rose and husband Tommy, Detta and husband Donnie, and Bonnie. He also leaves behind a daughter Charlene Gibson Stueler and her husband Keith. Charlene gave him two grandchildren, Avery and Braden, who he was crazy about.

He also raised five stepchildren from his marriage to Mona Wills. They are Natasia, Jeff, Mary, Neal, and Alta. He loved them all like they were his own.

Teal, as his family called him was truly one of a kind. He loved his wife Lee so very much and was an amazing Dad to Charlene. We are are sad to lose him, but we know he is in Heaven dancing to Creedance Clearwater Revival and hugging on his Momma, Daddy, and daughter Rayelene. A graveside service will be held on June 3, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the Round Mountain Cemetery.
