IN LOVING MEMORY OF
CHARLES WILLIAM HEATH

Charles William Heath, aged 75, embarked on his final journey on July 20, 2023, surrounded by the love and memories of his dear ones. He was born on December 27, 1947, in Catskill, New York, and he peacefully passed away in Ft. Myers, Florida. Charles was a man of character, whose legacy will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched.

Charles, affectionately called Charlie by his loved ones, is survived by his beloved wife of Judy Heath, who stood by his side for 55 years, offering unwavering support and a comforting presence. He was a devoted father to his children, Heather (Dan) Kiesel, Aaron (Hazell) Heath, and Tina Prince, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. The bond he forged with his grandchildren, Tyler Gaddy, Vance Gaddy, Nathan Kiesel, and Parker Prince, was filled with love, fond memories, and treasures that will withstand the test of time.

Among Charles' extended family, he leaves behind brothers David Heath, Larry Heath, Richard Heath, and sisters Beverly Campbell and Nancy Coleman, each sharing in memories of sibling camaraderie and lifelong connections. Brother in Law David (Mary) Hillen, Sister in Law Theresa (Bill) Pucillo. His nieces and nephews will lovingly remember Uncle Charlie's kindness and warmth.

A proud veteran, Charles served his country as a member of the US Army from 1967 to 1969. His unwavering commitment to protecting and defending the values held dear can never be overstated. The mark he left as a loyal servant to his nation remains an indelible part of his legacy.

Following his dedicated service in the military, Charles pursued a career that spanned over three decades in Indian River County. He selflessly served the community, leaving a lasting impact as an IRC Sheriff's Deputy, Code Enforcement Officer, and Deputy Property Appraiser. The commitment and professionalism he displayed throughout his career earned him the respect and admiration of those he worked alongside and served.

While we bid Charles farewell during these challenging times, we find solace in the vast memories we shared with him. The family will be arranging a private memorial service at a later date. Please respect their need for privacy during this period of remembrance and healing.

In this time of grief, we remember Charles' unwavering dedication, unyielding love, and immeasurable impact. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts and minds of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the memories and legacy he leaves behind.
