To my built in dad,
This is your daughter that unfortunately only got the chance to meet you when I was a baby. I don´t even know you just have heard stories but I think of you everyday. I just want to thank you for taking me in as your own daughter and for giving me a father´s love. I´m so sorry for what happened to you and I can´t wait to see you again one day. I met Chuck when I was a young girl at the Church of Christ on 43rd. For many years, he was a cool friend. We went to bible camp together and had a blast. I did not know Chuck as a man, only a boy. But from what I have heard he grew to be an incredible man. I heard of his passing by glancing at the paper. I was able to make it to the services. I just cant believe that he is gone. A beautiful life, an awesome guy and heart of gold. My best blessings to his son Hunter and to his family. A lose like no other. If anyone has any photos of Chuck, I would like some.

Chucky, I never thought that the little boy I watched grow up with my brother, the man that always seemed to show up at the right time to help when it seemed that noone would, would be taken from us soo early. I hadn't seen you often since Josh's wedding, but, the last time I saw you was a few weeks before you passed, at Josh's cookout, and you were right when you said you were the reason I came. I am so glad I was able to see you before you left us. I miss you more than I thought was possible, and my heart aches for Hunter every daybecause I know all to well how much he will miss without you. I think about you everyday, and I will miss you forever, You were my littlest brother and one of the best men I have ever known.Thank you for all that you have done for me in your short life and I know we will see you again one day, smiling that goofy grin of yours. I Love you!

Chuck and I grew up together. We always thought that we would be the best of friends forever. Chuck will always be a friend and someone I can talk to. I just have to listen a little harder now. Chuck was like my brother. I miss him terribly. I know he will always be with us, but it hurts so much to know that I will never hear his voice again. I love and miss you very much------POD

Well Chucky-poo, I can't begin to find a place to start. You have always been and always will be the love of my life. I miss you every single minute. I was just 16 and you 18 when my life changed forever, I met you. I am so lucky to have had you in my life the way we were for the 10 years. Can I think of my most cherished memory- I can think of so many but one that definately stands out was our first kiss. It was over for both of us at that point and I will never forget anything about that night. Everything we have been through together, when you left here it was not just losing my love, I lost my bestfriend. I love you and I always will and I love Hunter and all of your family. I want you to know that I have found a small piece of comfort in knowing that I will see you again some day and I can't wait. Love always your Knuckle Head.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chuck Jr. last year when he was here for a visit. I thought he was pretty cool, he had a sense of humor about him like his dad Chuck Sr,and the rest of the family here. I enjoyed meeting him for the first time and his uncle Bill was happy to see him and told him not be a stranger. He also got to meet his cousin Danny for the first time. He stayed by the house here and we had a nice visit. I thought of him quiet a bit when he left, and looked forward to seeing him again. He left a big impact on everybody even Danny wanted to see him again.
He will be missed by everyone here and our thoughts and prayers go out for his son Hunter, he will miss the most of his daddy in his life. God Bless You Chuck Pollack Jr. Love You Always!! Your Uncle Bill, Aunt Laura and cousin Danny

Chuck,
I've known you for quite a while, I remember you, Josh and I running around as kids 14, 15 years ago. Seems like just yesterday. The thought of ever being at this point never crossed our minds. Chuck, I'm glad we were able to get together have a cook out, and throw back some cold ones at Josh's house just a few weeks back. My kids had a great time playing with Hunter, things you take for granted sometimes. I vividly remember walking by each other as we were leaving, you put your arm around me and say I love you Bro, I replied love you too bro. you were a great man Chuck, we will never forget you. I thank you for all the great times we had as children and now as adults. Growing up I was looked at as the tough one of the crowd, Chuck, to a man I feel secure in telling you that sometimes when im alone I cry like a baby. Well Chuck, I'm glad to call you friend and I can comfortably say this to you. We had a million good memories and we'll have a million more, you will always be with us, as we will always be there with you. I thank you for the memories and for reminding me of what's important in life. Your friends here love you and we think about you all the time. May you rest in peace my friend.

I am sorry for your loss. I met Chuck when he worked at Foodway in high school. We had a lot of fun nights camping and hanging out. We lost touch over the years but his smile and laugh is unforgetable.

A night I will never forget is the night Chucky came to Chicago. It was November 2004, and we met him at the Hard Rock Cafe. We had dinner with family and went back to the suburbs to hang out. We laughed all night long. Before we knew it the time was close to 4:00AM. But it really didn't matter, none of us wanted to go to sleep. We wanted to keep talking and having a great time. Later on that day, before Chucky left, we promised each other we would keep in touch. And from then on, we did just that. We spoke often, and at all hours of the night. And the words so many of us will never forget is the way he would always say "GIT-ER-DONE." We will miss him very much.

I'd like to share a memory of my newphew: When Chuck was 7 he and his parents were at my home. We were preparing for my oldest daughter's baptism. Patty, Chucky, & I ran an errand. It was a crisp clear early spring evening. The stars were bright. Patty told her son, "Honey, look up at the stars". Chucky did, and RAN up the sidewalk into the house. He was startled! Living in Illinois, in town, he had street lights interferring with the beauty of the stars. Patty and I laughed. She then coaxed him outside to look again. For years after, he would talk of that night! He learned to love the outdoors. He sure will be missed.
