I know Dad had so many friends here in Amarillo, Texas but most of his friends are here in Texas and they don't have a computer, so I'll try to speak for them, He has been gone from here for many years, but a man like him is never forgotten,it doesn't matter how long he is gone. I have met many of his friends and they still love him and miss him. And they say I'm alot like him. I wish to GOD I could have had him all my life, but they say every happens for a reason. But that's ok he left me with a StepMother and a Stepsister, and a Stepbrother, I should have known all my life. I Love You DAD. I am so sorry Betty, You hang in there. God Bless Love You Rena Wesley

I have only known two great men in my life and Charlie was one of them and other was my father, Charlie could always make me laugh
and always had a good joke to tell me, and he could make a mean pecan pie. and some day we will meet in heaven and i want my joke and pie

I met Charlie only once. But I can say if the fruit falls close to the tree he must have been a good man. Understand, I married his daughter. The Bible says a good tree put off good fruit. His daughter is good fruit making Charlie a great man.
