Charlotte Hart Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 28, 2025.
Charlotte Fay Hart, age 82, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Born on August 12, 1942, in Buffalo Gap, Texas, parents, Cress and Richard (RH) Harrison. Siblings, Carol, Stanley, Hyce, Leeland, and Sara. Charlotte married Jerry Richards, and had two sons, Mark and Eric. Later married Gene Hart. Her early years in West Texas shaped her resilient spirit and deep appreciation for the simple joys of life-especially those found in nature and nurturing others.

Charlotte built a meaningful career centered around service and care. She worked as an Apartment Manager at Sherwood Forrest Apartments in Dallas, Texas, for 14 years, where she was known for her warm demeanor and attentive management. Later, she devoted two decades to working as a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA), traveling throughout Cedar Creek Lake and surrounding cities. In this role, Charlotte touched countless lives with her gentle presence and unwavering commitment to those in need.

Family was the heart of Charlotte's world. She raised two sons with strength and love: Eric Richards and his wife Michelle; and Mark Richards and his wife Vivian. Her devotion extended to her grandchildren-Ethan and Wyatt-whom she helped care for with boundless affection. Ethan and his wife Macey blessed Charlotte with great-grandchildren, including Blake Elise, Ryan Grace, and Brady Kate. Wyatt and his wife Alexandra. Her grandchildren were truly the light of her life.

Charlotte had a special love for flowers and plants. Her home was filled with vibrant greenery-a reflection of the life she cultivated both inside her home and within the hearts of those who knew her. People were naturally drawn to Charlotte's kind spirit; she had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and valued.

Her legacy is one of quiet strength, enduring kindness, and unconditional love. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Burial will be held on August 2, 2025, from 01:30 PM to 02:30 PM at King Cemetery Country Road 2138, Kemp TX 75143. A Funeral Service will be held on August 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Hurst Baptist Church 737 Treadwell Dr, Hurst TX 76053.

Seeing Charlotte every day while working at Legend Oaks Healthcare & Rehabilitation was always the highlight of my day. I am so heartbroken that I won´t be able to hear her say "love you hun" in her distinct accent or just sit with her in her room while she had her favorite snacks and movies on. She always made me laugh and things just truly won´t be the same without her here.

Charlotte was so chic and graceful - always sitting with her legs crossed, sweetly asking for her Nutty Buddy wafers and a cup of ice. She was resilient, and her hugs made you feel safe and deeply loved. I´m going to miss her so much. The facility feels dimmer without her presence and her sense of humor at Legend Oaks Healthcare & Rehabilitation - but she will always be remembered

I met Charlotte when we were just 14 years old. Freshmen at Wylie high school in Abilene, Texas. We had many good times together and I always enjoyed talking with her. She was a special person to me and I loved her dearly. My heart goes out to Eric and Mark and all her family. She is finally at peace and with our Lord Jesus. Fly high my sweet friend. I will see you there on the other side one day.
