I spoke to Cheryl last Thursday and she was cheerful and optimistic. I can’t believe she is gone. In the ‘90’s she told me we were going to be spiritual partners, and of course we have been ever since. A favorite story. One day she and I were doing medical billing at La Clinica, a free clinic for Hispanics and other immigrants in south St. Louis. I said I hoped we were doing it right because you can go to prison for medical fraud. Oh well, she replied. Then we can have a prison ministry. How could I not love her!
Rest In Peace, my dear friend.
With love to the family,
