Cheryl Hagelund Obituary
Cheryl Lynn Hagelund, 55, of Anchorage, AK, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014.
Cheryl loved her Family first and foremost, although her cats ran a close second. She was an avid 49ers Fan & loved Pro-Football. She also loved to SHOP, and not many could do it better than her. After her time in the U.S. Navy in California, she moved to Panama City, FL to be closer to family. She then met her long lost love, married him, and moved to Anchorage, Alaska where she and her husband have resided for the last 16 years. She truly loved it there and was always trying to talk family and friends into moving there.
She is survived by her husband, Fred J. Hagelund of Anchorage, AK; two sons, William L. Scollon, Jr. (Carissa) of Tallahassee, FL and Justin J. Hagelund of IN; daughter, Jessica Cuevas (Rudy) of CA; two sisters, Susan Sanguesa of NJ and Marion Lowe (Bill) of Panama City; two brothers, Scott Fitzgerald (Diana) of Panama City and Robert Fitzgerald (Debi) of PA; six grandchildren, William and Sofia Scollon, Jesse, Andrew, Mario, and Reyna Cuevas; Nieces, Jennifer (Dustin), Lindsey (Lenny), Brianna (Travis), Courtnee, Kristi, and Kelly; Great- Nieces, Alyssa, Kirstin, Amanda, Kylie, Marley, and Eva; Great- Nephews, Nate, Braedan, and Travis, Jr.; and MANY, MANY DEAR FRIENDS.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Those wishing to extend a word of condolence may do so at www.heritagefhllc.com.
