Christian G. Gibson, age 49 passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 18, 2021, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio where he met his wife Karen and were united in marriage on October 6, 1993. They had two beautiful children together, Shavaughn Carday and Jordan Keelonni. Christian graduated in 1992 from Eastmoor High School in Columbus. He worked for the United States Postal Service for over 24 years. He loved spending quality time with his children, enjoyed making people laugh, watching planes take off and land at the airport, fishing and he also had a special love of trains. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Christian is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Karen Gibson, son Shavaughn Gibson, daughter Jordan Gibson, mother June Gibson, father Robert (Claudia) Williams, brothers Lawrence (Jahnele) Williams and Alex Carter. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and co-workers who all loved him and will miss him deeply. A memorial service will be held via Zoom on January 2, 2021, at 4pm. Karen, Shavaughn, Jordan, Lawrence and Jahnele, I am so sorry for the sudden passing of your son, husband, father, brother. It has been a shock for everyone who knew Christian. He was so nice and always had a big smile on his face. I will always picture him that way. You will continue to be in my prayers for Jehovah to comfort you at this difficult time.
