Christina HENEGHAN Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Dec. 1 to Dec. 7, 2014.
HENEGHAN (nee Howley) Christina (Teenie) Castlecourt, Ballina, Co Mayo We, the family of the late Christina, sons John, Richard, Kieran and Gerry, daughters Mary, Monica and Rita and extended family wish to thank with sincere gratitude all those who sympathised with us on our dear mum's recent passing. Thank you to all who travelled long distances to be with us, also to those who phoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and letters. A sincere thank you to all our wonderful neighbours in Castlecourt, Ballina, Circular Road, Ballina and Foxford. She loved her chats with you all. Thank you to Fr Liam Reilly, for praying with Mum. Thank you to Fr Gerry O'Hora for the lovely funeral Mass and a special thank you to Mum's grandchildren who assisted so lovingly at the funeral ceremonies. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to our brother Richard who made Mum's Mass so special with his beautiful singing, accompanied by Pasty Doherty (organist), Mum would be so proud. We want to pay special tribute to everyone at Moy Ridge Nursing Home where Mum resided since May, as her health declined and she needed professional care. The love, care and respect that she received there from all the staff and residents was execptional. We are deeply grateful to you all. We would also like to thank Dr Walshe and Bernie Heavey from Elderly Services, Castlebar for their help in caring for Mum at home and at Moy Ridge Nursing Home. A special thank you to Dr Sean Moffatt and staff. His excellent care and support for Mum for the past twelve years has been a great comfort to us all. Our thanks also to Christy McLoughlin, Pharmacist for a wonderful service to Mum through the years. A sincere thanks to McGowans Undertakers for their kindness and care with Mum's funeral and also to the gravediggers for preparing Mum's final resting place. As we are unable to thank everyone in person, please accept this acknowledgement as a token or our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
