Christina Urias Obituary
Christina is survived by her 11 children: Lupe Dominguez (Manual) and Christina Mahoney of Phoenix AZ, Beckie Steiner (Rich) of San Marcos, CA, Rosie Crowell (Steve) of Russellville, AR, Gilbert Urias (Brigitta) of Tempe, AZ, Elvira Ward, Connie DeCorse, Ray Urias (Judy), Lucy Beecher, Dan Urias (Ana), and Victor Urias, all of Yuma, AZ. She was also blessed by having her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren all living. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Urias; and her mother, Gregoria Rios.
Viewing will be on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary Chapel, 1415 S. 1st Avenue, Yuma. Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church, 505 S. Ave B, Yuma. Burial services to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or the Saguaro Foundation Day by Day Program.

My dearest Urias family and especially Lucy, my pal of the last 50+ years, I grieve with you for the loss of your beautiful Mother's earthly life. However, we trust in our faith as she did and we know that she is reunited with all those she loved who have gone before, especially her dear Ramon. We must rejoice knowing she no longer suffers and that she will continue to guide us, watch over us and pray for us but now from heaven. We are all blessed to have known her. From the moment you walked in the door, you were family. God bless us all, help us through this time adjusting to not having you physically near us. May we find comfort in our Lord and may you rest in peace. Your kindness and compassion will be missed.
