Christine Bennett Obituary
Christine L. Parkhurst married Robert W. Bennett December 19, 1959 in Athens, Michigan. He preceded her in death February 1, 2019. She was employed as a school teacher in East Leroy retiring in 1991. Christine enjoyed sewing and working on puzzles.
Survivors include her sons: Robert & Linda Bennett of South Carolina, William & Mofan Bennett of Grand Rapids, Bernard & Barbara Bennett of Mount Pleasant, son-in-law Richard & Allison Crain of Shepherd, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Christine was also preceded in death by her daughter Rebecca J. Crain, sisters: Julia Metz, Barbara Jenkins, Evelyn Hayes.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday December 23, 2024 at the Central Church of Mount Pleasant, 3433 South Lincoln Road, Mount Pleasant. Friends may call on Monday at the church from 11 am until the time of services.
O'Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc., Coleman, is assisting the family with arrangements.
