Christine Tillman Fisher, 86, of Independence, Missouri passed away February 18, 2007. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Mt. Washington Forever Mausoleum Chapel, Independence, Missouri. Burial to follow in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. A "Celebration of Life" in honor of Christine will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday before the service at the Mausoleum. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Association, Heartland Chapter, 3846 W. 75th Prairie Village, Kansas 66208. Family and friends may leave messages of condolences at www.forevercemeteries.com Christine was born December 25, 1920 in Cowgill, Missouri to Johnson and Nannie (Ferkins) Trusty and lived nearly all of her life in this area. She was employed by Montgomery Wards for over 30 years of continuous service and retired from there in the mid 1980's She was a lifetime member of White Avenue Methodist Church and later became a member of Glenwood Methodist Church. She volunteered for everything to include Medical Center of Independence as well as a helper on every election. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Christine was preceded into heaven by her Parents, 2 Children, 1 Brother and 1 Sister. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of the home. 1 Brother; Edwin Trusty of Sibley, Missouri. 1 Sister; Hazel Trusty of Amarillo, Texas. 1 Grandson; John Kevin Tillman of Independence, Missouri. 1 Granddaughter; Karey Sarratt of Tulsa, Oklahoma and 2 GreatGrandsons; Brandon Sarratt and Trevor Sarratt both of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements: Mt. Washington Forever Funeral Home (816252-4141).
