Christine H. Mullis -COCHRAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Christine H. Mullis, 93, of Cochran, who died Sunday, March 12, 2006, will be held at 3P.M. Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Vaughn and Rev. Ken Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery. -Mrs. Mullis was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, the daughter of the late Jackson and Virgie Pettis Holland. She was the widow of James Harley (Scott) Mullis. She was the former co-owner of Scott's Bar-B-Que. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Harold Mullis and Howard Doyle Mullis. -Survivors include two sons, Newell Wayne (Betty) Mullis and James (Joe) (Zandra) Mullis, both of Cochran; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. -The family may be contacted at the residence of James and Zandra Mullis, 807 S.E. Seventh Street and will meet friends at Fisher Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday night. -Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
