Christopher Adams Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 18, 2011.
Christopher Brandon Adams born July 8, 1972 at Camp Pendleton, CA. and was raised in Pasadena, CA until moving to Texas and being raised in Saginaw, then graduating from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst. He then moved to Norman Oklahoma to attend the University of Oklahoma in the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Chris loved playing all sports as a child and excelled in everything he did. His favorite was baseball which also led him to play college league baseball for OU...Go Sooners!! Chris was a private contractor/broker in the oil/gas business and excelled at that as well. He was a very hard dedicated worker showing the quality of himself in everything he did. When he was not working he loved spending time with his family. He was an avid hunter with his sons and an excellent firearms marksman. He also enjoyed doing family outings such as water parks and baseball events and also loved outdoor fun with dirt bikes and 4x4's. When he wasn't doing family activities he was helping assist and coach little league baseball with his 3 sons. He is survived by his wife and 4 children. Gabriel 11, Noah 9, Nicolas 8 and Chloe 2. Chris was the most compassionate, kind and selfless man we've ever known. There was so many times where he would reach out to perfect strangers and share what he had to help their need or just to do the right thing. He's given money, food, filled up cars with gas for people, change tires for elders in 115 degrees, bought groceries for the single mother in the grocery store, all to strangers and friends or family in need. He was extremely respectful and a true southern gentleman. He was also a devout Christian who was solely devoted to living by God's way to have a happy fulfilling life. He always wanted the best for his family and worked hard to provide it. He was always ready to teach a lesson to the children about our Father the Lord and how to stay strong and keep faith and trust in God to do what he needs to for his ultimate plan for us all. Christopher was also the best husband ever, he loved loved loved his wife Jennifer Danielle Adams and there had always been a certain knowing that God had placed them together. They were both madly in love with one another and so very happy. They were at their prime together in their life and marriage and raising their family to be prosperous. Chris does not have any other surviving family so he found his family with Jennifer and her family and he was welcomed with open arms. Everyone loved and respected Chris so much for being such a good man, husband, father, and friend. It is truly believed that Chris has made such a positive impact on so many other people's lives that he will be known as the St. Christopher to us all. We are all so grateful for the time that God has allowed us to share life with him and for him to really know and experience what a true family is. That was what he wanted so badly in life to feel worthy in God's eyes, to be worthy to have a family and be a good man. I think he has far exceeded himself. He knows that being a recipient of God's miracles personally several times in his life and our lives together. I hope Chris can now see how much he was truly loved by so many people and how much he will be missed. Until we meet again........ Visitation and viewing for Chris will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 beginning at 10:00 am at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, followed by furneal services at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Intemnet will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
