Carter family,
My heart is so saddened to hear of Chris's passing. I no longer live in the area and had no idea Chris had been ill. I remember your family fondly as neighbors however mostly Randy and Jeanne. But I got to know and enjoy Chris many years later along his sidekick (Teena) at school. The students loved him as well as staff. His smile is something I can still see clearly and his laugh was infectious. He was such an important part of London and the Madison County community. Heaven gained a true angel. May God give you Ann, Bill, Randy, Jeanne, Tracy and the children strength during these difficult times. As well as the entire community.

Dear Anne, Bill, Kay and Chris's immediate family,
I only knew Chris through the stories that Anne shared with me over the years as we worked together at Madison Health. I could tell he was a special person by the way her eyes twinkled as she spoke of him with such love and pride. I hope it comforts you all to know how much good Chris instilled in our community as evidenced by the outpouring of condolences. He was truly loved by the entire community and will be greatly missed. Love, Darla Bires

So sorry to hear about Chris. He was a great guy that was an inspiration to many. He touched a lot of lives, I got to know Chris from working with him at Carter's Market, and Central Twps FD. I remember hauling Chris back to the fire station one night after a fire at Green Meadows where his fire gear was frozen, and he could not remove.
God Bless
