The actual date of this entry was on November 14th.

Thank you for having this site and thank you for for letting everyone say something here about Chris.

For a brief moment in time you were my son and I will cherish ever memory.

If there is anything I have learned by Christophers death is always tell those close to you how much you love and care about them even if you don't see or talk to them every day. If you have hurt someone by your words or actions tell them you are sorry.

We can not change the choices we have made in the past but we can make better choices now and in the future.

We all remember Chris in our own way and he knew that we all loved him.

Good, Bad, Right or Wrong he was our son.

I miss you Chris and will love you forever.

Your Mom for a Moment in Time

Well Christopher...It is almost time for this guest book to end. I think about you and miss you everyday. How blessed we all were to have you in our lives.. Each one of us came into your life for so many different reason. Each one of us that you called mom came into your life to get you to the next path that your journey was to take you on. How honored we all were to call you " our son ". Your short time here with us gave us so many memories. Your first day at PreSchool...Teaching you the ABC'S and the W/me ...the Halloween you dressed as Freddy Kruger..The day you gave me my ring..Your invisible dog shopping with you and your dad.....Thank You Christopher for all the Butterflies..............
I Know I will see you one day

This is Christophers father. I was there when Chris was born July 12, 1982 and at that time he became MY son, I took care of him.
I saw the love he had for dogs, kids and older people. He had so much love in him. I am so sorry for what happened, the things that went wrong in Portland that lead to his death, in the end, I lost my son.
Roxana, I want to thank you for giving me two great sons, which gave me great grandchildren. Thank you
I have been Chris's constant in his life since the day he was born, I think of my son every day of my life.
My wife and I have been married for over 16 years, she has been in Chris's life since he was 10 years old. Thank you and Bless you all, Kermit, Christophers father.

Hey Bubba, your daddy sure loves the little visits from you! So does Bella Boo! Keep them up son, he says it's nice to know you still check in on him, and thanks for the big hug and comfort while dad was in Mexico. I'm glad you told him it was you. Keep up the visits! It's nice to see so many people sharing how much they loved you and miss you. Doesn't suprise me though, you were a very loveable guy, and I miss your hugs big boy! So I get them from Jake, you spoiled that boy, he is a big whiner! But he keeps us close to you. No matter what, we love you and miss you son, and no one can take that away from us! Love you, Dad and Mom

Christopher
Its now been 1 year and the pain and emptiness in my heart is no less. I miss you. Your uncle Billy went to join you Sept. 2nd 2008. I know that when it is my time you all will be waiting with open arms, smiles on you faces and hearts filled with love.
Everytime I find myself wishing I could see you, just to reach out and hold you I look around and within moments a butterfly will appear to remind me of your love.
Always and Forever
Your Mom

Chris even tho we aren't related by blood you will always be my nephew. I will always remember when we first met and you kept calling me Fran. Then I named you Fred lol.

I still have that piece of myrtle wood you painted for me all those years ago. I keep it on my desk always and I think of you when I see it.

I remember the fun you and JJ and I had on the beach when I came up to see Isabella be born.

Christopher, you came into my life July 12th, 1981 and became my son not long after that.

On Sept. 4th, 2007, my son Christopher passed away . I will miss him with all my heart but know that he is at peace. I am thankful for our last phone conversation just days before this happened.

Your wife Kelly has shared things with me about how you felt about me and your family here in California. You always told her that you knew how much I loved you. I will always cherish all those stories.

From the time you were a little boy I always told you that everytime you see a butterfly son....know its mom sending her love to you...And you would tell me "the same back to you mom".

Your California Family will miss you.

I couldn't imagine growing up without my best friend Chris. I never thought we would be apart. I thought of him like a brother, and he was, and always will be my brother. I will never forget him. Many people can only aspire to be the kind of person I know he was inside his heart. I will miss you Chris.

I remember when you were 10 and when your dad was at work late, you'd lay your head in my lap and have me rub your head. I remember when you first asked if you could call me mom, and when you told me I was the best mom you'd ever had. I remember being there when your daughter was born, and the look on your face. I miss you very much son. Mom

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
