LAUGHLIN Christopher 1980 - 2009 Christopher "Tiny" Laughlin left us on September 17, 2009 at Royal Columbian Hospital. Christopher was greeted by his Gido, Baba, Nana, Papa, cousin Jeremy, and best friend Ryan. He will be celebrated by his wife, Crystal; son, Blake; Mom, Sandy; Dad, Brad; sisters, Kristina and Jennifer; nephew, Deekin; in-laws, Louie, Judy, Chad and Sheldon; Laughlin Grandparents and massive amounts of family and friends including his sports teams, The 1/2 Cutz and The Mission Selects. Chris was an amazing hockey player, a golf guru, and a modern day Babe Ruth. A party will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 2pm at the Mission Best Western, 32281 Lougheed Hwy. Pastor Layton will be guiding the party. Please send donations in lieu of flowers to "Canadian Tire Jumpstart" charity. I didn't know Chris all that well, but what I did know about him was that he loved life...and I remember the day he text me tellin me he was gunna be a
daddy...He was so excited, I would get random texts from him telling me how far along crystal was, it was the sweetest thing...I was leaving work that day and heard all the siren, then
I saw the helicopter, never did I think it would have been someone I knew...It just so happens that I going to send him a message that I came across this...Crystal we never met, but I am so sorry for you loss...I know how much Chris loved yu and how excited he was for being a family...my deepwat thoughts are with you, Blake and all his family and friends May you RIP

Dear Christopher ... just over a month since September 17th. It is still impossible to understand what happened to you that day. Not in this life I guess.
You must be so proud of your Crystal and son. She is a good Mommy and will always look after your son Blake.
There are many "first" coming up. They will be hard for all of us that are left behind. Your leaving us has created a large hole in the family.
We shall carry on as that is what you would want us to do.

Dear Christopher .. just over a month since you left so suddenly. I still have a hard time understanding September 17th and all that happened.
You must be so proud of Crystal and your little son. They are doing so well. Crystal is a good little Mommy and I know she will always look after your son Blake.
So many "first" events are coming up and I know it is going to be hard for all of us that are left here. You not being there leaves a huge hole in the family.

Christopher I just wanted you to know you are still with me and your dad. We think of you everywhere we go, we don't cry with saddness we cry with the wonderful memories and you would do that or that should be you. We know you are happy because that is you, and we know you will always watch over all of us. We will always be there for Crystal and Blake Ryan, they are stuck with us, they are so wonderful.
Christopher we will talk one day and I will treasure that day, I hope I made you proud to call me mom because I was so proud to call you my son.
Take care McDuffy and I will get those yellow and white flowers and have them always with me.
Keep being our GENTLE GIANT ANGEL and let us know you are still here.
