Christopher Mayrand

Christopher "Chris" Mayrand, age 60, passed away on July 30, 2025, in Dearborn, Michigan. Death was a natural death . Born on August 6, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, Chris lived a life marked by loyalty, humor, and unwavering support for those fortunate enough to know him.

Chris was the kind of person you could always count on-steadfast in his friendships and generous with his time and wisdom. Whether offering a helping hand or sharing one of his signature wisecracks, he brought warmth and laughter into every room he entered. His sense of humor and deep well of knowledge made him not only a trusted confidant but also a cherished companion.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Mayrand; his brother, Timothy Mayrand; and Tabatha Mayrand, whom he considered a daughter though she was his niece. Chris also leaves behind many dear friends who were like family to him: Ward Pentoney, Steve Samson, Madeline Worischeck, Dawn Irwin, Dave Razzi, and many more whose lives were touched by his presence.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Diana Mayrand; several beloved aunts and uncles; his grandparents; and his close friend Rick Worischeck, whom he considered a brother.

Those who knew Chris will forever remember his loyalty, quick wit, and the comfort of knowing he always had their back. His absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who loved him.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire the same strength and kindness he so freely gave.
