Our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Clara Ann Sorbe Paulsen, peacefully passed away on December 31, 2016.
Born December 3, 1933 in Levan, UT to William Fredrick and Inez Alberta Sorbe. She married Clair E. Paulsen on November 7, 1953. Mom loved and her greatest joy was her family. She looked forward to seeing everyone and reminiscing at the annual family reunions in Levan, UT.
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Rich) Nigro and Kurt (Debi) Paulsen, two grandsons Kristopher Thomas and Ed Stringham, a great grandson Camden Carter-Stringham, expected great granddaughter Phoebe Tanner-Thomas, siblings Glenda Wilson, Marlene Sorbe, Kathryn Brazieal, and Bill Sorbe, and many nieces and nephews.
Mom, we will miss you but we are happy to know that you are flying free!
Per Ma's request, there will be a family viewing at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 S. 2200 W. Riverton, UT, on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11 A.M. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 where Clara (Ma) will be laid to rest with her husband Clair (Pa) at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd. Bluffdale, UT. A celebration of Ma's life will be held in Levan, UT at the Sorbe family reunion in July.

Dear Cindy, Kurt and family, thank you so much for letting us know and love your sweet mom for so many years at Legacy. She was a special lady and raised 2 wonderful children. I will miss you all very much. Take care and I hope you find peace :)
