Clarence Pinar, 88, of Dousman, passed away Friday afternoon, March 1, 2024, at Angels Grace Hospice.

He was born on February 25, 1936, in Wells, MI, son of Nick and Ruby (Perele) Pinar. Clarence worked hard on the Great Lakes Ore boats as a teen to help support the family and spent many years at Allis Chalmers, Custom Products and was skilled at repairing machinery eventually retiring from Briggs and Stratton in 2001.

Clarence is survived by his wife Delores and lived many years on School Section Lake in Dousman.

Clarence loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting with nephew Tim at the cabin, and fishing. Always the life of the party, Clarence had a great sense of humor and was always cutting up with family, friends and neighbors often with a cold beer in his hand.

When his children were young, he was always involved with the music/marching band activities which included driving the bus all around Wisconsin and Illinois as well as sporting events and activities like taking care of the backyard pool as this was where all the kids wanted to be!

Clarence also enjoyed his German Wire-Haired Pointers and his work with the Kennel Club as well as some gardening.

Among survivors include his three daughters, Cathy (Brian) Burkard of Milwaukee, Christine (Bill) Nelson of Sister Bay, Colleen Pinar of Ball, LA, and son John (Cyndi) Pinar of Crestwood, KY, grandchildren, Nick Pinar, Ellie Pinar, and Claire Pinar; siblings, Jim (Judie) Pinar, Tom (Kay) Pinar, Gladys Anderson and Margaret (Don) Haas.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rudy; sister, Donna; brother, Bobby; sister, Dotsy Sosebee; brother Walter; brother, Dennis; brother, Mike; brother Dwayne; sister, Marilyn Eckman; infant sister, Mary Rose. Clarence is also survived by Delores' children Brian and Dawn along with her granddaughter Chrystal.

A celebration of life is scheduled for March 23rd from 11:30-2:00 at Thunder Bay Grille in Pewaukee.
