My heartfelt condolences to all the members of the Panneton family for such a great loss as that of the man I only knew as "Mr. Panneton". Your eulogy was fitting, although I only met him a few times, he was definitely the sort of person who left a lasting and positive impression on you. Again, my condolences.

Dear Panneton Family,
I have soo many fond memories of Mr. Claude Panneton when I was growing up in and around St-Laurent. He was always such a fun loving warm person... even age could not get him to stop laughing... in fact the last time I saw him was two years ago around the condo on Sources, he was taking a walk with Mrs. Panneton and we had stopped to chat a little.. we were talking about a few things, and all along, he was waving an umbrella like Fred Astaire.. dancing and chuckling at every possible opportunity!!
My deepest condolonces to the entire family!! You were all very blessed to have such a father in your lives..

Dear Mrs Panneton,
Long ago growing up across the road from your family on Leduc St, I remember your husband Claude with fondness. He included all the kids on the street with his own. What a gang of kids we were in those days.
I remember one little incident that I hope serves as a reminder of his sense of fun. It was a summer meal at your table in the big kitchen and I had been invited to join you. There was a lot of boisterous hubbub from us kids; we definitely were not settling down and all the typical parental methods for getting our attention weren’t working. So Claude used the ketchup bottle as a gavel to get some order in the court. A big gob of ketchup flew upwards and stuck to the ceiling. We kids were utterly silent looking from the spot on the ceiling to Claude who was trying desperately to keep a straight and maybe even a stern face. Until a drip of ketchup landed on his plate and he could not hold it in any longer and burst out laughing and, of course, so did we all.
I send you my sincere condolences on the death of Claude who will be so missed by you and your children (my childhood playmates) and your grandchildren.

Dear Gerry,
Although it seems like a million years since we last touched base, when events such as this occur, it is, to me, essential that an acknowledgement be made. I am so sorry to hear of Claude's death and my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
May the One who comforts and sustains us all be with you through these difficult days...may you find peace and comfort in the memories of happy days gone by and in the warmth and love of family.
My deepest sympathy

Was so sorry to hear of Uncle Claude's passing. He was by far one of those "favorite uncles" and a visit to the Panneton household was always guaranteed fun! He had a wonderful sense of humor and I know my dad always enjoyed his company as well. My sympathies to Aunt Gerry and to all of you at this difficult time. Will keep Uncle Claude in my prayers.
