Dear Mrs Evans,
I was a friend of Clem's through our love of Liverpool and time at Kelly's. I always enjoyed being with him and sharing tales on many subjects. In spite of his soft Welsh accent, he will always be an honorary scouser. I am so sorry for your loss and I offer you and your family my profound sympathy and sincere condolences. I am unable to pay my respects in Montréal but I will do so quietly over a toast to a kind and most intelligent man.

Dearest Sue (and entire Evans family),
