AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Cleo "Flower Man" Tucker, of Chadbourne Street, entered into rest Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at the Medical College of Ga. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church with Rev. James Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. He was a native of Glascock County, Ga., employed at Augusta Wood Preserving Company, and a member of Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church. Survivors are three daughters, Shalanda Tucker, Shannon D. (Cornelius) Barnes, and Brittney Tucker; father, Willie G. Tucker; two brothers, Travis (Tabatha) Tucker, all of Augusta, and Freeman Mitts, Wrens, Ga.; four sisters, Pansy White, Sandersville, Ga., Faye Tucker, Elois (Leroy) Jones, and Elaine Tucker, all of Augusta; four grandchildren, Ahmeka Tucker, Chloe Tucker, Cornia Tucker, Jayden Tucker, all of Augusta; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Cleo was a good and respectful man we both had the same birthday in which we would catch one another at the clubs on our birthdays and have a good time. I just had a nice time with him about a month ago and we danced all night long. I will miss your smile, flowers and stuffed animals. RIP may God bless your family through this difficult time.
