Clyde Gorham

Clyde "Buddy" "Chico" Gorham 71, of Greencastle, Indiana, passed away on June 30, 2025, in his hometown.

Born on August 9, 1953, in Greencastle, Buddy was a lifelong resident of the community he loved. He graduated from Greencastle High School in 1971, where he played baseball and began cultivating his lifelong passion for sports.

Buddy dedicated many years of his working life to Lobdell Emery until the factory's closure. Known for his strong work ethic and steady presence, he built lasting friendships with colleagues and neighbors alike.

A devoted sports enthusiast, Buddy was an avid supporter of IU Basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Pacers, and Caitlin Clark. Whether cheering from the stands or watching from home, he found great joy in following his favorite teams. He also enjoyed bowling and remained active in local leagues over the years.

Buddy was deeply cherished by those who knew him as an amazing father, brother, uncle, son, and friend. He is survived by his wife Abby Gorham; daughter Diana Ali; sisters Marilyn Knors (husband Randy) and Cheryl Sutherlin (husband James Sutherlin); four nephews; five nieces; three great-nephews; and six great-nieces. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his niece Christina Gibbs.
