My family had the good fortune to live next door to the Downing family when they first moved to Decatur. My brother and I played with the Downing children over on 9th avenue. It has been many years but you have never been forgotten. We were the Murphree family (Peggy and Dewayne - children). We offer our deepest sympathies.
