Dear Patty, Ann, John and Janet,
I was saddened to hear of Mr MacDougall's passing. Although we never really spoke that much I always felt I got a fair shake from him, maybe the man-to-man aspect. I enjoyed sailing on Sundays and even went so far as to tell my boss I had to have Sundays off for "religious reasons" so that I could join Janet in the sailing. Wishing you all the best.

Patty and Ann:
Sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad. I always remember your talking about him and his sailing, when we were working together, and I'm sorry I never had the pleasure of meeting him. May he have fair winds and calm seas forever.

Jean, Ann, Patty, Janet and John,
I have wonderful memories of the 70's and I enjoyed many dinners with the whole family over there on Teaticket Path. Out on vineyard sound on the work boat at that time, going to different beaches that you need a boat to get to (I really thought that was cool). To me Mr. MacDougall was a man of few words, but was always there to answer questions we had and help get places. I have been missing one thing for the past several summers, that is looking out on Vineyard Sound and seeing Jean and Colin out there on the sailboat he had built. God bless you all. John Davis

Patty, although I never had the privilege to meet your father, you and Ann are a both a testament and a lasting legacy to all that was good about him. My heartfelt condolences to you, your family, and his friends. Your other "family" will celebrate the life of your dad when you are back in New York.
