Colleen A. Madden, a lifelong resident of Pringle, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, in Pittsburgh while visiting family.
Born July 19, 1963, Colleen was the youngest child of the late Anthony F. and Marcella Bugdonovitch Madden Jr.
In addition to her loving parents, her brother, James, preceded her in death.
Colleen was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and was employed as office business manager for Dr. Marianne Santioni and worked at Macy's, Wyoming Valley Mall. Colleen was a parishioner of St. Ignatius Loyola Parish, Kingston. Everyone who knew Colleen felt her endearing big heart and giving nature. Her laugh was infectious, her smile was mesmerizing and she had such a playfulness with her witty sense of humor. Colleen had a life full of memorable experiences and adventurous travel. She enjoyed spending summers by her pool entertaining family and friends.
Surviving are her fiancé, Joseph Kovalick; sisters, Marcella Padavan and Deborah Madden; brothers, Anthony (Toni) Madden and Edward (Stacey) Madden; niece, Nicole (Matthew) Martin; nephews, John (Amanda) Padavan and Ty Madden; grandnieces, Violet and goddaughter, Julia Padavan.
The Madden family will receive family and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hugh P. Boyle & Son Funeral Home Inc., 416 Wyoming Ave., Kingston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Saturday in St. Ignatius Loyola Church, North Maple Avenue, Kingston, with the Rev. Richard E. Fox as celebrant. Interment will be in the family plot in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Colleen's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the ASPCA.

Shocked and saddened to hear of Colleen´s passing. My deepest sympathy to her family and loved one´s.
We were friends since young children. Each time I saw her we both hugged, laughed and shared jokes like it was yesterday.
I will forever remember Colleen´s passion for life and wonderful smile.

So very sorry for the loss of Colleen. She was a wonderful person and did have a great sense of humor! We were friends in high school and the last time I saw her was a Macy´s shopping. I would always speak with her and we would be laughing every time! I pray peace and comfort to her family and fiancé. May Jesus Christ be with you now through this loss. Love and prayers to you all.
