Comora and I were friends from childhood through high school. As we all went our separate ways and the distances kept us apart, we had recently reconnected a few years ago and I am thankful for that opportunity. Her friends and classmates at MLW High had the priviledge of knowing such a wonderful and caring person. We will miss her greatly. Herbert Southall, MLW Class of '56

I met Comora in the late 70's at a Black Social Workers conference in San Francisco, CA. We became best friends and referred to each other as sisters. To me, she's family and I'll forever miss her and the joy she added to my life.
I can not believe she's gone. She left us much too soon. May the family find comfort in knowing so many of us loved her and share their grief. May she rest in peace.
