Connie was a dear and faithful friend to me and my family. My favorite times with her were when we went to Schlotzky's for a sandwich and a cookie. When I move from Spokane, she was one of the last friends I visited since I knew our parting would be emotional and it would probably be my last time to see her before we met in Heaven. I know it will be a joyful reunion on that day, I hope the Schlotzky's people have a table ready for us. All my love and sympathy, Ginny Foster, Restwood Funeral Home, Clute, Tx.

Connie,
You have left a grand and wonderful legacy. Your family has your love and strong work ethic and values. I met you six years ago, I am part of the Haskins women, that work at your family company. You had us over for a luncheon and you were so wonderful and gracious. You are and always will be a lady, with much love and grace.
Thank you for your family because my family has greatly grown from this!

My Aunt Connie.was devoted to her family, her church and her work. She worked tirelessly for those things that were important to her and many people have been blessed by her efforts. I remember her bottles of coke that she had for breakfast that helped keep her going. Suzy Haskins

Connie, what a wonderful loving beautiful lady! I had a blessing and pleasure working with her, she taught me so much and graced me with her wonderful fun adventures and stories of her being a young girl. A good christian woman who taught me the meaning of giving. Connie you will always be in my heart and you are now home. I love you.

I worked for Haskins Steel as a receptionist for in 1971-72 or thereabouts. I remember Connie as the Coca Cola for breakfast lady, with ususual energy, upbeat, holiday decorator, Bible thumping, and "take 2 aspirin, wait 20 minutes and push yourself out the door" philosophy. Great lady!
