Corey OLEKSYN Obituary
August 9, 1970 - February 18, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a beautiful husband, father, brother and son, Corey Lee Oleksyn, 41. Corey was born on August 9, 1970 in Saskatoon, Sask. He grew up in Calgary, AB, was proud to have gone to Crescent Heights High School where he later met his wife Tammy. They started their family and had two boys and a girl who were his life. Corey and his family moved to Kelowna in August 2007, where Corey could pursue his love for fishing, boating and golfing. He was a true outdoorsman and taught his kids many valuable lessons in life that they could carry forth. He leaves behind his loving wife, Tammy; sons: Brody and Grayson; daughter, Jayden; father, Glenn; mother, Thelma (Barrie); brother, James; mother-in-law, Sheryle (Joe); brother-in-law, Ryan (Kristy) and numerous close family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was truly a unique person who can never be replaced in our lives. Goodbye is only temporary my love, you will always be remembered.
