I remember when Cory was a baby and then years later meeting him again at the Casino. He would always greet you with a smile and a Hi.
I know losing a child is difficult but time will ease your pain as we have been through it ourselves this summer.
Our condolences to Reg, Pat and Family.

Reg, Pat & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. I did not know he was ill so it was a bit of a shock. Last I saw him was in Edmonton at his Aunt Rita's wedding a few years ago. Very sad to hear the news. He was out there with us dancing and having a good time and always smiling.
Our condolences,

I met Cory at the Casino - I was lucky enough to train under him. As soon as I met him, he had a fire in his eye and the greatest mischevious smile that I have ever seen. Cory and I became fast friends, he even helped me move and shared a couple of beers with my family. It is truly a more lonely world without him, and I'm blessed I got to say - Hey, I know that guy, he's awesome!

My deepest sympathies go out to your family and friends, Cory. I will truly miss you. Cory & I graduated together and took some university classes together. Years later we met up again when I started working at the Casino. It was a joy to see his smile again. It was like we hadn't missed a day since school. I remember how we both had 2 jobs and would come in to work at the Casino till 4:30 in the morning. Working with Cory, His smile and energy gave you the energy to work and give it your all. I will never forget your bear hugs. Cory was always smiling and a joy to work with, He would never let anything or anyone get in his way or let him down. I will truly miss you. May you watch over everyone you have touched in your life through this difficult time. Rest in peace. Friends forever. GAbe

Hello Aunt Pat, Uncle Reg, Craig, Carla, and Amanda,
We did not get to see Cory enough but I can remember him crushing the refreshment cans (and most of these were not soda pop cans) from the beach when he was a wee lad. This was during a family reunion and I can remember smiling and giggling inside wondering where he gets all his energy and enthusiasm from after such a late night at the beach bonfire. He will truly be missed and our sincere condolences. Love Lynn, Lexy, Kenzie and Jeffrey.

My condolences to the Malone family. I worked with Cory at the Casino and whenever I saw that I was scheduled to work with him I knew it was going to be a good night - I never remember him without a smile, no matter how long or frustrating the day would be. He was a joy to work with and it was a pleasure to have known him. I remember his buzz cut, his bike riding and the care in parking his bright yellow car at the far end of the parking lot so it would not get "hit" - you could see it from a mile away. Cory was not the biggest person but he always made a big impression. He will be remembered and missed.

I am saddened to hear the passing of Cory. We worked together at Casino Regina and we became good friends since then. My favorite memory of our friendship was years ago at a casino Curling Bonspiel, Cory and I named our team King Farquad and the Ice queens. There is nothing Cory can't do. We had a good time on the ice and had good laughs playing. He is always ready to have a good time. I will never forget my dear friend. My condolences to your family.

Cory was the "BIGGEST" little guy I have ever known. He had a big smile, had big arms, and most of all he had a big heart. He was always there to lend a hand.

One specific example I have of this is a couple of years ago when I was in tight for a place to live. My roommate moved out of my apartment and I needed another place to live ASAP, as rent was too high. Cory was right there. Right away he said "why don't you just live with me for a while." At this time Cory was going through a big change in his life as well. He was just about to move into his big new house. I felt kind of intrusive, but if you knew Cory he was kinda persistent sometimes. Anyway it was me who ended up moving into his new house first!

Cory, I am going to miss ya!

To Cory's family and fiance please know my thoughts and prayers are with you always. I know Cory will always be watching over us!

Cory and I attended highschool together. I have many fond memories of Cory over the years. We spent many hours in the gym together and probably just as many partying on the weekends. I could never seem to get as strong as him no matter how hard I tried. He always made sure he was ahead of me and loved to rub it in. He was one strong bugger!!

I will miss running into Cory and playing catch up on our busy lives.
His smile never changed over the years and will never be forgotten! We will all miss him and
many blessings to his family.

Dear Pat & Reg, Craig & Carla, Amanda, and the rest of the family:

Cory was a very special guy! He was one of my best friends growing up... all of our camping trips together, playing on the farm, golfing and all other great memories of him will never fade away. He will be missed by everyone!

I will forever sit by our summer campfires and roast a marshmallow for Cory, play his imaginary guitar, and think of him!

Pat, Reg, Carla & family, Craig & Pat & family & Amanda,
So sorry to hear of Cory's passing. It is great to read all the wonderful memories of Cory. One always remembers the last time they saw someone; many times we would see Cory out walking his dog in Lakeridge. He was also so proud of working at SaskTel. He obviously had many accomplishments, something you can all proudly carry in your hearts. Hang on to the happy memories; rest in peace Cory.

My deepest sympathy for your pain, "Uncle" Reg and "Auntie" Pat. My parents used to see you camping, etc. and I remember Cory from when I was quite young. I was saddened at his passing at such a young age. You asked for memories about him instead of cards and flowers, so here is something very special about him that I remember:

A few years after Cory had gone to Riffel H.S. I was a part of the yearbook staff there. There were some old yearbooks and since my brothers were about Cory's age, I happened to look at some books from when he went to Riffel. I noticed two things: one, that Cory was involved in EVERYTHING; and two, that he seemed to be very happy and well liked.

I hope the memories of the good times that you had with Cory help you all through the bad times you are going through now.

Rest in peace, Cory.

I will always remember the many sleepovers with Carla where Cory tried to sabotage our girlish movies by making fun of them as any older brother does. Though he really stepped up to the plate by helping us out of the basement window when we wanted to sneak out in the middle of the night! I will remember the camping trips and other Malone family events I was always welcome at and Cory was there to crack a joke and laugh with. Memories of my adolescence would not be the same without Cory’s laughter and smile. He will be sadly missed. My condolences to my friend Carla, her parents, Reg and Pat and her brother Craig. Love Lorna.

Dear Amanda, Pat , Reg and family.

My Deepest Sympathy.

The passing of Cory has left a great void in the World.
He was a great friend and Co worker. I have so many fond memories of Cory when we worked together at Casino Regina.
He later became a neighbor in the Condo Complex that I lived in and he enjoyed his condo and working on it to get it the way he wanted it. Later he moved on to his new house and would often tell me how much he enjoyed it and he was so proud of his new home.
Then one day he arrived at my office with a beautiful young lady holding his hand and his eyes sparkled as he introduced me to Amanda.
I could tell he had found the love of his life and was so happy.
I helped them plan their trip to Australia and they had a great time there.
When they return Cory came to see me and talked about the trip and his future plans.
I was so happy for Cory and felt that he and Amanda were going to have a long and beautiful life together.
I guess God had another plan for Cory and although we dont understand it nor do we want to, we do have to accept it and continue on with life as Cory would want us to.

Thank you for sharing Cory with us.
He shall be missed.

Cory was one of the few people that always had a larger-than-life smile for all his friends. He always took the time to catch up, even if we hadn't seen each other in a few years. He was always a great friend and he never hesitated to stop what he was doing to chat, even if it was rollerblading on a hot summer day. My family's thoughts and best wishes are with his family and loved ones. I'm really gonna miss you Cory. Love you, Spew.
