I met Crissy and Bob when we moved to Welcome and started attending Center Church in 1960. Bob's brother Bert and I were in the same grade at Welcome School and we quickly became friends. I loved hanging out with Crissy, Bob and Bert, spending the night in the cabin in the woods, and doing anything they wanted to do. Crissy directed the children's choir and sang in the adult choir, and I played the piano and organ for them at the church. Crissy was one of the best friends I ever had. Though I haven't seen them often in recent years, I've enjoyed staying in touch. My love to her family. She will be greatly missed.

Crissy and I shared a first and last name together. My birthday certificate's spelling is Crissie, but, I wanted to be like Crissy and changed the spelling. What a tough act to follow! Crissy was one of my sister, Carolyn's best friends and we enjoyed many years of friendship together playing bridge, slumber parties, New Year's Eve parties, parties at the Lake and I will always be grateful for Crissy and Bob's love and friendship. Crissy will be missed. RIP
With Love and appreciation,

When I think of Crissy, I remember her sense of warmth and kindness for everyone she met. Her humor was contagious and she had a special way of including this in her classroom instruction as she made books come alive for her reluctant readers. Crissy was a wonderful teacher and touched so many lives in such a positive way. Her devotion as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend was a model for others. Bob, may God grant you and your family peace and mercy in the days ahead, and may you feel His love and grace each day. We were blessed to have her in our lives.
