I am so sorry to read of Curt's passing. My condolences to the Ames family. I was a friend of Curt's from high school and worked at Burris Equipment where he would come in for equipment repairs. He always had a kind spirit and a smile for everyone.

I am so very sorry to hear that Curt has passed. We were " special friends" as we both endured our red hair. We go back a long way, to Newport Grade school. I am so sorry. Linda Curtis Knabel

We were greatly saddened at the news of Curt's passing. He and my father, Ray, spent hours talking about the Carpentry business and jobs they did together. Curt was one of the few who could keep up with my Dad on the job. We have you all in our prayers and thoughts.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Curt but if he was anything like his sister, Jan, he had to be a great guy. My deepest sympathy to his entire family as they learn to live without him.

My deepest condolences to the Ames family. I will miss seeing Curt this fall for the Michigan firearm deer season. I am glad I got to know Curt over the years. He was good friend to the Pachmayer family on Lake Gogebic. I will remember him for his fantastic work ethic and his love of the outdoors. He will be missed.

So very sorry for the loss of a great man! I will always remember the stories he used to tell me. In particular, the one of broken toe the big buck that got away!
The hard work ethic Curt had was so inspiring to all that new him, in particular my father Rock. The carlson family would always look forward to those late nights and early morning Curt would pull up to his cabin. We all will miss him dearly!
